LAvsHate Long Beach Mural Project!!!
SHE is proud to announce we have received a grant from the County of Los Angeles to develop an anti-hate mural and host workshops for local youth as part of the LAvsHate campaign. This mural will be done by the end of July 2022. Painting Day is 07/23/22 @ Deja Brew on Broadway in Long Beach! We want to thank them for allowing us to use their wall as the canvas for this wonderful message of inclusion. Our planet is in crisis & our people are too!
Sacred Human Evolution (or "S.H.E.") is a Church of God and Mother Nature and registered nonprofit whose mission is to help people find a healthy spiritual path and then incorporate those ideas into daily life. We believe that comes through finding the right balance, both individually and collectively, between technology and honoring/preserving our natural world. Our goal is to allow us to collectively prosper through continual spiritual growth while strengthening our connections to our roots and planet as a whole.
S.H.E. believes change starts one person at a time, with YOU as an individual. First and foremost, balance and peace comes from security. Security in day to day life, whether that be financial, housing, food, or most important, in one's spiritual life. We strive to provide that to all who are in need; to extinguish insecurity wherever we can. Thus, our motto is "BE SECURE."
Unfortunately, right now, many of our fellow brothers and sisters in society are insecure due to society's current corrupt version of capitalism. Soulless mega-corporations that are legally considered "people" are running the world and leading us straight to "hell." (Hell is in quotes for a few reasons, but mainly because it is up to us all collectively to decide whether we manifest "hell" by destroying our planet together due to our own out of control greed). The only way that comes true is if WE as a people can't control ourselves and learn to live in harmony and balance with Mother Earth.
Plant Medicine, Spirituality, and Religious Freedom
S.H.E. is proud to stand with Decriminalize Nature, a nonprofit movement dedicated to decriminalizing all plants, funghi, cacti, etc.
We believe that an individual's connection with nature is fundamental to their spiritual well being, and that entheogenic plants, funghi, cactus, etc., allow us to connect with our higher power directly and profoundly. These are part of our holy sacrament and necessary to our worship as we use them in ceremonial and religious fashion to connect with our higher power. We are very careful to ensure we use them with respect and care to avoid the possibility of abuse or overconsumption. Of course, no members are ever pressured or required to use them if they don't feel comfortable. Rather, we provide a safe space for education and sacred use with proven methods to facilitate spiritual growth.
In fact, S.H.E. would not exist if not for our Founder's spiritual journey that included ceremonial usage of ayahuasca, mushrooms containing psilocybin, "bufo" toad venom, and other substances that were able to finally open the eyes, heart, and mind of one of the most dead set hard core atheists ever to walk this earth!
Laws that make simply possessing or ingesting a plant, fungus, cactus, or similarly naturally occurring substance a crime violate our core religious freedoms and beliefs. Thankfully, the Supreme Court of the United States agrees! Check out this Supreme Court case from 2006, validating the use of ayahuasca as a protected religious activity.
